General Questions
Find answers to common questions regarding the Singapore trip
Logistics
What is the meeting time at NAIA?
The team will meet at Terminal 3 at least 4 hours before the 07:40 flight. Meeting time is
strictly 03:30 AM on April 1st near the Singapore Airlines check-in
counters.
Logistics
Are we required to take the official flight?
No, parents are allowed to take a different flight other than the contingent flight. Parents
may opt to book independent flights outside the official contingent booking.
Logistics
Are we required to stay at the official hotel?
No, parents may opt to book their own hotel near the JSSL Official Hotel if they prefer
alternative accommodations.
Accommodation
Where are the coaches and main contingent staying?
The coaches and main contingent will be staying at Holiday Inn Atrium.
Some members of the contingent will also be at New Cape Inn.
Transportation
How will the players get to and from the venue?
There will be a contingent bus from Holiday Inn Atrium going to
Tampines Hub and back. We highly recommend players to join the bus transportation for
convenience and safety. The bus schedule will be released once the fixtures are announced.
Logistics
Will there be transport to the venue?
Yes, there will be a designated contingent bus from the official hotel
going straight to Tampines Hub and vice versa. Please watch out for the daily schedules.
Equipment
How many kits should we bring?
Players must bring White, Orange, and Black kits. PSA Jackets will also be
available for
the contingent. For other official kits and merchandise, please DM the PSA Admin.
Equipment
How do we manage laundry for the kits?
Since daily kits are subject to change based on opponent colors, parents will need
to be able to manage the laundry of their players. Final match-day kit
designations will be finalized right after the fixtures are released.
Venue
What amenities are available at Tampines Hub?
Our Tampines Hub is an integrated community hub. Amenities include a massive Hawker
Center, retail malls, a library, bowling alley, swimming pools, and a 24-hour
supermarket.
Venue
How is it different from last year's JSSL at The Arena?
Unlike The Arena (which is a dedicated pitch facility), Tampines Hub is a multi-story
ecosystem. It offers a stadium environment with covered seating, air-conditioned malls for
parents to wait in, and significantly more food and retail options just seconds from the
pitch.
Safety
Who will supervise the players?
Players will be supervised by designated parent coordinators and their
direct team
coach for the duration of the trip.
Insurance
Is travel insurance included?
No, travel and sports insurance is NOT included. It is highly advised to
purchase comprehensive sports travel insurance before your trip to ensure coverage for the
duration
of the tournament.
Communication
How will parents receive updates?
A dedicated Viber group will be created for real-time updates on results, meeting times, and
daily schedules.
