PAULSTIGA SOCCER ACADEMY · NCRFA YFL SEASON 2026

A Message to Our PSA Families

Development, Commitment and Togetherness

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the new YFL season begins, we sincerely thank you for trusting Paulstiga Soccer Academy with your children. Your commitment, sacrifices and continued support make it possible for us to guide our young athletes through another important stage of their football journey.

OUR TEAMS THIS SEASON

12 PSA teams · U7 through U15 Girls categories. Our girls’ teams will compete in the U9 Girls, U12 Girls and U15 Girls categories.

01 · Development Comes First

Our main goal remains simple: to support every player through a safe, structured and purposeful development program.

The YFL is an important part of our seven-month development program, but it is not the only competition our players may experience. We also plan to join selected monthly tournaments, mini-tournaments, international trips and other development opportunities. Every match is a chance to learn, improve and grow—not only to chase results.

02 · Training Is the Foundation

Players are expected to attend training consistently. Training prepares them physically, technically and mentally for matchday, while also showing respect for their teammates and opponents. If a player cannot attend, parents must give the team’s coach or head coach advance notice whenever possible.

03 · Playing Time and Team Selection

Our coaches will work carefully to balance playing opportunities throughout the season. Playing time may vary according to training attendance, readiness, development needs, position, match intensity and the tactical situation. Equal minutes cannot be guaranteed in every match, and matchday selection decisions remain the responsibility of the coaching team. Every decision will be made with the player’s development and the team’s best interests in mind.

04 · The Parent’s Role on Matchday

On game day, parents must allow the coaches to coach and the players to play. Tactical instructions from the sideline and interference with team decisions are not permitted. The most valuable support is positive encouragement for the children, respect for the coaches and calm support for the team.

Growing Together

Support, respect and progress—every matchday.

05 · Winning, Losing and Learning

Football is a beautiful game. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but we must always grow. We will celebrate every victory together and treat every defeat as a lesson for the next match. Our responsibility is to create a positive environment in which young athletes feel supported, challenged and inspired.

06 · Respect for Referees and League Officials

Parents and supporters must remain respectful toward referees, opponents and league officials, even when emotions are high. The league may impose sanctions or penalties when spectators or team representatives behave aggressively toward officials. Let us protect our players and our club by showing discipline, sportsmanship and self-control.

07 · Questions, Concerns and Feedback

If you have a concern about playing time, a coach, a player, an opponent or any matchday incident, please approach the coach calmly after the game or send a message to the academy administration. This allows us to understand the matter and address it properly. Respectful feedback is always welcome; it helps us improve because we do not claim to be perfect.

08 · Building on Our Progress

Our teams completed the Unity Cup with encouraging results, with every participating PSA age group placing between first and fifth in its category. We are proud of that progress, and we enter this season determined to become stronger. Consistent training, teamwork and parent support will be essential.

09 · Our Commitment to You

We will continue doing our best to support our players, families, coaches, staff and administration throughout the season. Your encouragement and cooperation are deeply appreciated. Together, we can give our children a meaningful, disciplined and enjoyable football experience.

Standing Together

Let us stand together—supporting the players, trusting the coaching process and representing PSA with pride for Jesus.

We pray that Almighty God grants us the strength, grace, wisdom and ability to manage this season successfully. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
